БALKANSKY is the name of an audio-visual project realized in collaboration between Ivo Christov and Ivan Shopov that combines traditional Bulgarian music with electronic sound and vision. Later in time the musical legend Theodosii Spassov joins the project and together they present the project live all around the world.

In 2009 has been released a limited edition of the debut album Kuker, that includes 11 photographs of the “kukeri” ritual, realized by Ivo Christov.

At the moment БALKANSKY works on different projects and remixes and also on the second album for Kuker Music.
