Ivan Shopov

What distinguishes Ivan Shopov is his ability to mix traditional Bulgarian folklore with electronic music and jazz, which helped him create a bridge between the past and the present generations. Behind his back, there are three albums in collaboration with Theodosii Spassov and an album with the folklore singers Avigeya. Ivan also released a solo ambient album in 2011 and another IDM album with Valance Drakes in 2018. He is also a sought-after composer for contemporary dance and theatre, as well as composer and sound designer for short films, movies and interactive installations.
